Beaches and Bays

The main Broadstairs bay - (Viking Bay as shown above) , is just one of seven sandy bays around the coast of Thanet.
Seasonal life guards keep a watchful eye on swimmers and surfers.

Seasonal activities on the beach include paddle and surf  boarding, kayaking, wind surfing plus a Childrens Play Area with trampolines, helter skelter and traditional fairground swings.
